For those of you who aren’t too familiar with Art Basel, it’s an international art fair with three shows staged annually in Basel, Miami Beach and Hong Kong. Each show is organized into sectors which showcase Modern and contemporary artworks by established and newly emerging artists.
During this year’s Art Basel, adidas has decided to give away 1,000 pairs of the adidas EQT ADV 91-16 you see above. Now known as the adidas EQT ADV 91-16 Art Basel, the shoe will come in an all-White upper accompanied by the reflective stripes and a special tongue label that shows love to the internationally known art fair. The shoe also comes with a White sole unit and a set to two-toned (3M?) laces to tie up the look together.
So now that we’ve got that out the way, I know what’s on your mind: “How do I get my hands on a pair?” Check this, adidas will be debuting a new open source talk series, dubbed #TLKS, The series begins tomorrow with Pusha T, Ben Jones and Adwoa Aboah down in Dade County. To coincide with this event, adidas will be conducting a public seeding throughout Miami giving away 1,000 pairs of the limited edition adidas EQT ADV 91-16 Art Basel.
