Have you ever seen a sneaker that was designed with a squirrel as its inspiration? If you answered no then you can now change your answer to yes because that’s what mita sneakers did with this Asics GT II.
After getting our first look at this release last month, we now return to show you some on-feet images of the collaborative release. The mita sneakers x Asics GT II Squirrel features a Dark Hazelnut and Light Chestnut upper in a hairy suede material that is meant to mimic the look of a squirrel’s fur. Mita then adds their signature colors of red and blue throughout the shoe for that unique touch.
The mita sneakers x Asics GT II Squirrel will be releasing in Europe this weekend with a stateside release hopefully not too far off. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Author’s Take
Many people may not be fans of the hairy suede upper, but I actually like it. I think it makes the shoe stand apart more than others. I could have gone without the red and blue accents though.
