It’s hard to believe that the Nike Air Foamposite One released back in 1997. Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the shoe, so you know very well that Nike is going to release special versions of the shoe to commemorate the 20 years. One way Nike looks to celebrate the models anniversary is by once again releasing the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Royal is one of the OG colorways on the Penny model. It’s only right that Nike re-releases it to celebrate its 20th. A Royal posite upper is paired up with hits of Black placed on the eyestay, tongue, heel, lining and laces. Carbon fiber fiber and a translucent motif is placed on the sole region. The shoe is said to be dropping January of 2017.

(11/6/2016): Nike has pushed up the release date of the Nike Air Foamposite One Royal 20th Anniversary. It is now being reported that the shoe will be releasing on December 15th. Retail price is still $230.
