If you weren’t really feeling the Olive and Black colorway of the adidas NMD XR1 set to drop in a few days, maybe this Light Grey and Black colorway is more to your taste. Also releasing the same day as the Olive pair, let’s get a closer look at the shoe.
The adidas NMD XR1 is done in a Primeknit woven upper done with alternating stripes of Black and Light Grey. The protective cage overlay comes in Grey, as does the heel tab, pods and lining. Light Grey leather hits noted on the tongue give the shoe a nice premium hit. A White Boost midsole and Black outsole round out the main features of the shoe. Although both colorways are nice, I’m much more of a Olive sneaker kind of guy. Regardless, I like this model in any color.
