Officially unveiled earlier this week, today we bring you some of the first on-feet images of the upcoming adidas NMD R2.
Set to release on December 3rd in a black and an olive colorway, the next generation of the adidas NMD features a classic Primeknit construction on the upper with a waxed-suede heel-patch, branded heel-pull tab and tonal 3-stripes mark, while a new engineered “shadow noise” motif continues the OG model’s legacy for bold, disruptive aesthetics with uncompromised visual appeal. The main differences between this R2 pair and the R1 are the removal of the EVA inserts on the lateral midsole and the new pattern/print that is seen on the upper.

Author’s Take
One of my favorite details from the original NMD were the EVA inserts on both sides of the shoe, so I’m not sure how I feel about this R2 version. These new on-feet images do make them look better though.
